| Description: | Door closed, with one of the supporting struts on. For normal operation, this door really needs two struts. (the provided struts are 300lb struts!). However, I plan to install a linear actuator to power lift the door in the future, so we only put one on. We drilled a hole, and basically just welded the ball joint onto the car. You can see here why we had to edit the wheel well a bit, as when the door opens, that part rolls inwards and would hit the well. |
