However, my idea was a little different. I wanted to see, if I could run a steam/retroarch box, as a VM, and then hook the wyse up to my TV, and use it as a set-top gaming box, with all the horsepower back in my rack. Lots of other people have detailed the various steps on how to set this up, and the video does a really good job, what this is, is documenting the specific fiddly bits that caused me pain.
Pain #1: My PS3 (Playstation 3) USB attached controller was unusable and slow in both steam and retroarch.
Symptom was unbearable lag in the controls. The cause?
If you check "Use USB3", it will be broken as all hell. Uncheck that.
Still documenting as things get fixed....
